This is filling a request for my 'bud, IH. This band here, called Sweetback, has been Sade's backing band and production team since '84. They released this "solo" album in '96 and featured some R&B artists from that era: Amel "Groove Theory" Larrieux and Maxwell. Only recommended for those who appreciate the production on Sade's albums...or love baby-making basslines, Fender Rhodes flourishes and Gayngs-inspiring saxophone riffs.
