Take a trip back to 2002 when Luke and I put together this two disk set to mark the 10th Anniversary of our Mix-Tape label "Preferable Productions"! There are so many hits on here, can't even begin to mention specific ones...
This set followed up the awesome 5th Anniversary Edition Boxed Set (sadly lost to time) which featured 5 real mix-tapes (Preferable Rock x2, Country, Soul, and Metal).

Some songs of note include:
ReplyDelete-"Ue o muite aruko" which was called "suki yaki" in America and was the first (and only) japanese language top 40 hit! (later made famous by Slick Rick, also on this mix)
-"Three Minute Rule" where i used some ancient mp3 editor to isolate it from the rest of "B-Boy Bouilliabaisse"
- and "all tomorrow's parties" demo, recorded in lou reed's dorm room, isolated from the numerous takes on disc one of the VU boxed set, with the same ancient MP3 editor.
So dope!
