Okay so, I hope you all got that Slowdive. It's kind of bummer music, but I love it. If I was on a desert island, I guess i'd be pretty bummed out, and here's some more kind of bummer music, but it still rules!
Mazzy Star is one of the best bands of all time. Their sound is so lush, but you can pick any instrument out of the mix with ease. Dave Roback is one of my favorite guitarists ever, and Hope Sandoval is pretty much just the hottest ghost voiced chick I know of. I could never pick my favorite album, so here's all three of theirs... Enjoy.
